Mercy University will award three (3) semester hours of graduate credit for successfully completing courses offered by Teacher Education Institute & Mercy University. All Participants must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in order to receive graduate credit. An official transcript, if requested, will be issued upon course completion.
TEI courses are part of the Mercy University graduate catalog. Some of these TEI courses may be accepted as equivalent courses in Mercy’s graduate degree programs upon acceptance and matriculation as a Mercy University student.
Mercy University is chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York, and accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. It’s School of Education is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
Students in New York are prohibited from exceeding 12 credits during any SUMMER semester and 15 credits for each of the SPRING or FALL semesters, total. It is the student's responsibility to keep track of the hours taken by semester.
